As you progress through the Dordt College engineering program, you'll become increasingly adept in engineering design methods and technical and computing skills, while receiving a strong foundation in the liberal arts. Your engineering course work will involve relevant creative design projects. Your assignments will require you to combine individual initiative with teamwork and communication. They will challenge you to take seriously the importance of social, cultural, environmental, and aesthetic issues as well as technical and economic factors in the solution of engineering problems. Students can readily access the computer tools and laboratory equipment necessary for completing a variety of analysis and design projects.
