Danielle Wyenberg

Instructor of Engineering

Danielle Wyenberg serves as instructor of engineering at Dordt University, teaching courses such as Geographic Information Systems and Surveying, Introduction to Computer-Aided Engineering Design, and Engineering Economics.

Prior to joining Dordt’s faculty, Wyenberg served as an assistant on several engineering research projects, primarily focusing on data acquisition and control systems. She also worked in a manufacturing facility, utilizing CAD technology to lead design on new product and support materials. Before moving to a faculty role, Wyenberg enjoyed teaching as an adjunct and lab instructor for several years at Dordt.

Outside of the classroom, Wyenberg serves as the faculty advisor for the Society of Women Engineers and an academic advisor at Dordt. She is also a member of the Christian Engineering Society and holds a Capstone Certificate in GIS Fundaments, Mapping Science and Spatial Analysis.

In her free time, Wyenberg enjoy working alongside her family on their small cottage farm, raising goats and chickens, tending the vegetable garden, and stewarding the land as best they are able. She also enjoys working alongside her church community as needs arise and is an enthusiastic reader of many genres.
