The Mission

Since Dordt's founding in 1955, the institution has maintained the same mission at the core of all institutional decisions and operations:

As an institution of higher education committed to the Reformed Christian perspective, Dordt equips students, alumni, and the broader community to work effectively toward Christ-centered renewal in all aspects of contemporary life.
 

Today on campus, that mission is exemplified in all of campus, not just in class.

Chapel

Join us for chapel every Wednesday morning in the BJ Haan Auditorium. We'll sing songs with our talented student-led worship team and receive a brief message to keep our hearts and minds focused on Christ throughout the week.

Service Opportunities

Jesus free his followers to joyfully serve others. That's why we strive to maintain a culture of service on our campus. Around 60% of Dordt students are actively involved in volunteering activities, and 1 in 10 students are engaged in community-based service learning and practicum experiences as part of their required coursework.
