Friday visit days are the best way to experience Dordt's campus. Stay overnight in the dorms with a student host on Thursday night and starting Friday morning—meet with a professor, tour campus, eat in the dining hall, and more.

**Program Preview: A unique experience that offers prospective students a deeper dive into specific programs of study and will allow them to participate in hands-on learning activities alongside professors and current students.

DEFENDER VISIT DAY

Thursday Night

  • 7:30 p.m. — Check-in at Admissions
  • 8 p.m. — Dorm tours
  • 10 p.m. — Praise and Worship
  • 10:45 p.m. — Meet student hosts, and stay overnight in a dorm

Friday

  • 8:45 a.m. — Check-in (Eckardt Lounge)
  • 9 a.m. — Welcome (Eckardt Lounge)
  • 9:30 a.m. — Campus tour
  • 10:40 a.m. — Financial aid presentation
  • 11 a.m. — Lunch (East Commons)
  • 11:45 a.m. — Faculty and student panel (Eckardt Lounge)
  • 12:15–3 p.m. — Individual appointments (Professors and co-curricular)

MEALS AND LODGING ARE FREE

If you plan to stay overnight as part of your visit to Dordt, we provide meals and lodging. You will eat in the Dordt dining hall and be hosted overnight by students in their residence hall rooms (be sure to bring a sleeping bag and towels).

You're encouraged to bring your parents, too. Although no on-campus lodging is provided for them, ample accommodations exist at local motels (information is available on request). Plus, if you travel more than 200 miles one way to get here, you may also qualify for travel reimbursement.
