Now, more than ever, our nation needs a generation of well-educated, wise men and women with a firm grounding of faith, able to bring change to our world.
At Dordt University, our mission is to equip students, alumni, and the broader community to work effectively toward Christ-centered renewal in all aspects of contemporary life.
Dordt is launching its largest capital campaign ever, seeking to plant for a greater harvest, making an unprecedented investment that will impact generations to come. This $90 million dollar campaign will allow Dordt to continue to develop and expand research and innovative programs, to develop and improve spaces for students to live and learn in Christian community, and to increase access to a Dordt education for students seeking to have Christ at the center of their college experience.
Our goal is to have continued improvement and expansion of our most innovative programs.
We want to expand and enhance opportunities for today’s students to develop wisdom that works for a rapidly changing world and workplace, preparing students to serve as citizens of God’s kingdom.
Our plan includes a special focus on professional and vocational studies, as well as continued faculty development and service through research and academic centers. This key component of our campaign will allow us to grow in unique programs including nursing, agriculture, research, and technical degrees.

This critical campaign component seeks to ensure cost will not have to come between students and the life-changing educational experience Dordt provides.
The pressures on private Christian higher education are significant to the point that several institutions have had to close their doors in the past few years. Affordability and accessibility are key considerations for students as they make enrollment decisions.
This component strengthens Dordt’s financial foundation so we can hold firm to our core mission as we operate in a rapidly changing cultural and economic environment.
