Giving Options

New Residence Hall

At Dordt University, learning extends beyond the classroom. Residence halls are places where students build lifelong friendships, encourage one another in their faith, and discover what it means to live in Christian community. As enrollment at Dordt continues to grow, the university is expanding campus housing to preserve that distinctive residential experience for future generations of students.

The new 220-bed residence hall will provide a welcoming home for students while strengthening the close-knit community that has long been central to the Dordt experience. Designed with spaces for studying and gathering, the residence hall will foster meaningful connections that help students thrive intellectually, professionally, socially, and spiritually.

Your support of this project will help ensure that future generations of Dordt students have a place to live, learn, serve, and grow together in Christian community.

Every Square Inch Apartments

As students grow through their college years, apartment-style living offers new opportunities to increase independence while remaining connected to the Christian community that shapes the Dordt experience.

Four additional Every Square Inch apartment buildings build on the success of Dordt's existing Every Square Inch community, providing students with spaces where they can deepen friendships and prepare for lives of faithful service beyond graduation. At the same time, expanding upperclassmen housing creates additional space in traditional residence halls for incoming students, helping Dordt accommodate continued enrollment growth while preserving its vibrant residential community.

The Rozenboom Family Athletic Center

Over 45% of Dordt students participate in athletics. And with over 115 games and events in the Rozenboom Family Athletic Center last year, the renovation and expansion of the facility will provide an enhanced experience for students, student-athletes, coaches, fans, and community members alike.

Capitalizing on Dordt’s home court advantage, this third phase of the project will include baseline seating and viewing with improved sight site lines and hospitality accommodations. Additional locker rooms, an expanded training room, coaches’ offices, and dance studio will promote athlete safety and health. And with the addition of air conditioning, an expanded south lobby, and Dordt Media Network Production Center, the project will help to ensure that connecting Defender Nation with our players and fans is a priority.

The Rozenboom Family Athletic Center supports a uniquely Christian athletic program and serves to exemplify the Defender Way.
