Dordt University senior Brendan Pieper, an accounting and finance major from New Prague, Minnesota, has been named the 2026 Accounting Student of the Year.
Dordt freshman Ashley Torner has been selected to compete in the People’s Artist Competition, reflecting both her emerging artistic talent and the strong mentorship within Dordt’s close-knit art community.
Nikolas “Niko” Begalke, a 22-year-old Dordt University student from Germany, passed away in a skiing accident on January 3 in Austria. He is remembered as a kind, thoughtful student-athlete with "a curious mind and a caring heart."
