On Tuesday, April 2, on Fourth Avenue NE near Dordt University between 4th Street NE and Defender Way, the area will be fully closed to traffic as crew connect water and sewer to the new Fourth Avenue Townhomes. It will likely remain closed through the beginning of the following week.
The Fourth Avenue Townhomes, which are slated to be finished by the fall 2024 semester, will be comprised of two buildings connected by a small storage and mechanical area. Each building will have three 2-bedroom units and two 1-bedroom units. Construction is being completed by Vision Builders.

The community is invited to the voice recital of Dordt University junior Philip Shippy. The free recital will be held on Saturday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. A public reception will follow.
