“Solitary,” a senior art exhibit by Hayden Jennett, a graphic design major from Chandler, Arizona, will soon be on display in the Art & Design Department Gallery at Dordt University.

In her exhibit, Jennett explores the tension between isolation and community, reflecting on our deep need for connection. Through film photography, the show considers how God created us for relationship—with each other and with God—even when we feel alone. Through quiet and thoughtful imagery, Solitary invites viewers to consider how connection can still exist in moments of distance, offering a sense of hope and belonging.

To learn more about Jennett and her work, the community is invited to an artist reception on Tuesday, April 28 from 7 – 8 p.m.
