On Thursday, January 25, more than 125 people gathered in the Campus Center at Dordt University to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for Dordt’s newest graduate program, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. The event was held in collaboration with the Sioux Center Chamber of Commerce.

Dordt’s MBA program, which will begin classes in the fall 2024 semester, is 100 percent online, can be completed in two years, and requires a total of 36 credits.

The program is geared toward working professionals in business or organizational leadership seeking higher levels of training in areas such as Christian leadership, management principles, accounting, marketing, project management, human resource management, business law, and entrepreneurship.

“We need more Christian leaders in the business world,” said Dr. Tim Klein, director of the MBA program, during his event presentation. “And we are excited that Dordt’s MBA program will help equip a new kind of business leader who can stand on biblical principles while pursuing business interests.”
