
Dordt University partners with Toccoa Falls College for a streamlined MSW pathway
A new partnership between Dordt University and Toccoa Falls College will offer students a streamlined pathway to an MSW degree.
The much-beloved Pops Concert will take place on Thursday, September 12 at 7 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.
Dordt University’s Instrumental Ensembles will kick off the 2025–26 concert season with a Pops Concert celebrating the music of fantasy movies on Thursday, September 12, at 7 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.
The Mass Band and Chamber Orchestra will perform music from beloved fantasy films, including the Harry Potter series and many others. Audiences are encouraged to join the fun by dressing in costume as their favorite characters from fantasy movies. In addition, the concert will feature a costume contest for ensemble members.
The Chamber Orchestra is under the direction of Mrs. Amie Smit, and the Mass Band is led by Dr. Onsby Rose.
“We’re excited to kick off the semester with a concert full of energy, imagination, and great music,” says Rose, associate professor of music. “It’s always a joy to see the B.J. Haan Auditorium buzzing with students, families, and community members enjoying the performance.”
