Wegner Added To Defender Soccer

(Friday, July 15, 2022; Sioux Center, Iowa) Abigael Wegner, a recent graduate of Edmonton Christian High School (Alberta), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender soccer program.

Wegner is a midfielder and was a two-time captain for a city champion team.

“I wanted the opportunity to continue playing soccer at a competitive level as well as experience living in a different country,” said Wegner.

Abigael is the daughter of Elvin and Koreen Wegner of Wabamun, Alberta. She plans to study English at Dordt.

Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition.
