DeLay To Run For Defenders

(Friday, April 15, 2022; Sioux Center, Iowa) Isabel DeLay, a senior at Beresford High School (South Dakota), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the track and field program.
DeLay is a sprinter with a 12.7 best in the 100 and 27.0 in the 200. She’s earned medals at the state meet the last three years while also including all-conference and academic all-state accolades. DeLay has been a part of three straight conference champion teams.
“I love how Dordt centers pursuing every area of life through Christ. The people and atmosphere are positive and uplifting,” said De Lay.
Isabel is the daughter of Christopher and Michelle DeLay of Beresford, South Dakota. She plans to study elementary education at Dordt.
Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).
U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
