Dordt to host Ag Day April 22

Dordt Ag Day

The Sioux Center community is invited to Ag Day at Dordt University on Friday, April 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The day includes AgVestigations for elementary students and adults, and a livestock judging and crops ID contest for high school students. Other activities will include barnyard games, a photobooth, ag equipment displays, animals, and a smoked pork sandwich dinner offered from 11 to 1:30.

The event is hosted by the Dordt University Agriculture Club and welcomes guests to come and go throughout the day.

“I am excited for the community and students to get a hands-on opportunity to interact with and learn about the ag industry,” shares Heidi Hammen, president of the Ag Club.

Come out for a fun and learning-filled day!
