"Lauren is such a fantastic addition to our dance program, and we are so excited that she has chosen to continue her passion for dance at Dordt next year! I have enjoyed getting to know Lauren back from when she attend our summer high school dance camps, and I am looking forward to getting to coach her in this next phase of life! I am confident that she will make a large impact on our team next year, and I am excited to see what she will all bring to this team during her time here at Dordt," said Dordt dance coach Mel Knobloch.

Dunsbergen was a part of a team that placed fourth at the State Dance Meet in Lyrical and Jazz and received a division one rating in Pom.

“I chose Dordt for its Christ-centered community and amazing dance team. I love the environment on campus and among the girls on the team,” said Dunsbergen.

Lauren is the daughter of Kory and Sara Dunsbergen of Newton, Iowa and plans to study business management and marketing at Dordt.
