Thorson To Attend Dordt

(Wednesday, February 9, 2022; Sioux Center, Iowa) Hope Thorson, a senior at Luverne High School (Minnesota), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender dance program.

“I am so very excited that Hope has decided to commit to attending Dordt University as well as being a part of our dance team next year! Hope has a lot of experience from dancing at her studio and competing at several different competitions over the years, and I am excited to see her use these skills on our team moving forward. She has a positive and bubbly personality, and I am confident that she will fit in well with our team!” said Dordt dance coach Mel Knobloch.

Thorson qualified for DX Nationals during her career and placed seventh in her category.

“I chose Dordt University because of the environment and people. I love how as a Christian school I will continue to learn and grown in my faith at Dordt while experiencing new opportunities,” said Thorson.

Hope is the daughter of Kip and Christine Thorson of Luverne, Minnesota. She plans to study business at Dordt.
