Dykstra To Join Golf Roster

(Tuesday, February 23; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Andrew Dykstra, a senior at Sioux Falls Christian High School (South Dakota), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender golf program.

“Andrew brings great experience to our program. Having competed at the state high school level for multiple years, he understands the importance of being a team and grinding out every round. Andrew has a great work ethic and will help push the team on and off the course,” said Dordt golf coach Jon Crane.

Dykstra had an average 18 hole score of 82.5 during his senior season and has been a part of state champion teams in 2019 and 2020.

“I chose to commit to Dordt because of the Christ-centered environment it offers. I know this was the best school for me to succeed in academics as well as athletics,” said Dykstra.

Andrew is the son of Mark and Michelle Dykstra of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He plans to study Finance.
