(Wednesday, February 12; Sioux Center, Iowa) Juliana Dieleman, a student at London Christian High School (Ontario), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender volleyball program.
“Juliana is a strong athlete through any front row position as she can perform all skill areas at a high level. She has played against good competition and seen success through her high school seasons at London Christian. We are grateful for coach Amanda Beerda and Forest City Volleyball Club coach Stu Pow for their investment into Juliana’s development. Juliana desires to grow in her walk with the Lord as well as all areas of her life. She will be a wonderful addition to our campus community," said Dordt volleyball coach Chad Hanson.
Dieleman has a member of a 2019 Division 2 Tier 2 National Champion team and averaged four blocks and three digs per set with a .260 kill efficiency. She's listed as a 6-1 middle hitter/opposite hitter.
"I chose Dordt because of its strong Christian atmosphere and the positive team culture that will allow me to grow as a student and an athlete," said Dieleman.
Juliana is the daughter of Dave and Jacky Dieleman of Melbourne, Ontario. She plans to enter the Pre-Med program at Dordt.
