Goslinga To Attend Dordt

(Monday, February 4; Sioux Center, Iowa) Micah Goslinga, a senior at Unity Christian High School (Iowa), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender baseball program.
Goslinga batted .470 last season with 39 hits, 16 doubles, two triples and two homeruns and compiled a .783 slugging percentage. He earned first-team all-conference honors twice during his career and he was a first-team all-district pick in 2018. He was 6-1 on the mound in 2018 and had a 1.85 earned run average in 53 innings of work and struck out 56 while opponents batted .202 against him. He's played shortstop, third base and pitcher during his career.
Micah is the son of Dave and Luanne Goslinga of Sioux Center, Iowa. He plans to study Business at Dordt.
Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).
U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
