Michael and Kyung Kim will perform a guest concert at Dordt College

Dordt College invites the public to a Duo-Piano Concert featuring guest performers Michael and Kyung Kim on Friday, March 31, at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. The concert is free, and RSVPs are not necessary.
The two will perform a program with selections from Hungarian Dances by Brahms, the Mother Goose Suite by Maurice Ravel as well as works by Bach, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, and Grainger.
Dr. Kyung Kim has performed widely to critical acclaim in concerto, recital, and chamber music performances throughout Asia, North America, and Europe. As an avid chamber musician, Kyung Kim has collaborated internationally with such prominent musicians as Paul Edmund Davies, Leone Buyse, James Campbell, and David Perry. She is a graduate of Seoul National University, and holds a doctor of musical arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and she is the associate professor of piano at the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities) School of Music.
Dr. Michael Kim has appeared as a concerto soloist with symphonies all over the world, from the Boston Pops to the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. He has performed in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. He holds a bachelor of music with distinction in piano performance from the University of Calgary, and a masters of music and a doctor of musical arts in piano performance from The Juilliard School. Michael Kim is the director and professor of the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities) School of Music.
