Dordt Football Adds Bertagnolli

(Monday, April 14; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Donald Bertagnolli, a senior at West Central HighSchool (Alberta), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender football program.

Bertagnolli averaged 40 yards per punt and hit 90 percent of his field goal tries.  He participated for three Lion’s Bowl winning teams and had a career long punt of 60 yards.  Bertagnolli was an offensive and defensive lineman while also handling the kicking chores.  He’s listed 6-3, 220 pounds.

Donald is the son of Mark Bertagnolli and Annie Bertagnolli from Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.  He plans to study agriculture at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
