Watters To Join Defender Football

(Monday, April 14; Sioux Center, Iowa) Jeremy Watters, a graduate of West Harrison High School (Iowa), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender football program.

Watters played football at Iowa Central Community College where he played wide receiver and helped Iowa Central to a 7-4 record and the Graphic Edge Bowl Championship .  He earned first-team all-district honors twice and was a third-team all-state selection twice at West Harrison. 

Jeremy is the son of Debra Watters of Mondamin, Iowa.  He plans to study exercise science at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
