July 25, 2013
Dordt College has again been named to the annual “America’s Top Colleges” list by Forbes.com. The college moved up 23 spots nationally in the rankings, which include the top 20 percent of undergraduate institutions nationwide. Dordt also appeared in the Top Private Colleges and Midwest Colleges lists.
Rankings are compiled by the Center for College Affordability and Productivity and focus on five general categories: post graduate success, student satisfaction, debt, four-year graduation rate, and competitive awards.
Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a vibrant academic community of approximately 1,400 students, most of whom live on campus. A Dordt education is affordable, with 98 percent of students receiving financial aid. On average, students graduate with less debt than students at any state university in Iowa, and most other private colleges, and 96 percent of graduates are employed within six months of graduation.
