The first of three senior art shows at Dordt College is on display through March 1 at the Dordt College Campus Center Art Gallery.

An artist reception will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, from 5 to 7 p.m., with participating seniors discussing their work beginning at 6 p.m. They are Ana Brito, Sioux Center; Betsy Van’t Hul, Rock Valley; Jessica Folkerts, Inwood; Larissa Arkema, Pella; Mark Eekhoff, Manhattan, MT; and Jake Kloet, Salem, WI.

Each of the senior exhibits offer a wide variety of media, but this first grouping features strong photographic work in digital photography.
The show also includes graphic design portfolios completed for internships, as well as production pieces. These real-world projects assist Dordt graduates in making the transition to the job-market in design and graphics.

The public is invited to these free art exhibitions, which will be on display throughout the remainder of the semester. The Campus Center Art Gallery is open every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Dordt College offers art degrees with five different emphases: fine arts studio, graphic design, art history, teaching art, or pre-architecture. The college offers 90 programs of study, which can be seen
