Mental Health Care in Rural Communities topic of March 27 event

The Dordt College Psychology Department is hosting a public lecture on the topic of mental health care in rural communities on Thursday, March 27.
Dr. Michael Mangis and Professor Natalie Sandbulte will be speaking on the topic at the Dordt College Science and Technology Center lecture hall, S101, at 7:30 p.m.


Dr. Mangis is psychology professor at Wheaton College and also the co-founder of The Center for Rural Psychology. Natalie Sandbulte is a psychology professor at Dordt College and is completing her Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College.

The lecture will focus on how persons in rural areas are under-served in terms of mental health care needs and how mental health agencies can offer creative methods for meeting these needs.

The Dordt community and the public are welcome to attend this lecture.
