LeMahieu flute recital is Dec. 1

Andrea LeMahieu, a Dordt College senior from Frankfort, IL, will present a flute recital Saturday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the B. J. Haan Auditorium.
Also performing will be Susan LeMahieu (clarinet and piano), Helen van Beek, and Stephanie Kocher. The recital and reception following the performance are free and open to the public.

LeMahieu is the daughter of Keith and Lauren LeMahieu, and is majoring in communication, with a minor in music performance. Her private instructor at Dordt College is Stephanie Kocher.

Her program for the recital includes Aaron Copland’s “Duo” for flute and piano; Gary Shocker’s “Flute Forest”; “Tarantelle” for flute, clarinet and piano by Camille Saint Saëns; Michael Daughterty’s “The High and the Mighty” for piccolo and piano; and “Duettino American” for two flutes by Franz Doppler.
