Engineering students to show projects

The Dordt College Engineering Department invites the public to presentations of Senior Design Projects on Wednesday, April 19, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Science Building Lecture Hall SB-101.
Six projects will be demonstrated. They include a flat and lug stacker, sponsored by Sakuma Brothers Processing, Burlington, WA; a brushless DC motor controller, sponsored by Groschopp, Inc., Sioux Center; a mink ranch water supply system, sponsored by Smies Fur Farm; and a solar box oven, hydraulic ram pump, and loading dock, all sponsored by Dordt College.
Dave Kielstra, Andrew Kroeze, Greg Mac Leod, and Jon Vander Vliet will demonstrate their flat and lug stacker at 7:35 p.m.
Brian Mathews, Nathanael Van Ee, and Elizabeth Van Haaften will present their hydraulic ram pump at 7:50
Alex Haas and Chad Talsma will present their brushless DC motor controller at 8:05 p.m.
Tom Birchard and Chris Van Huis will present their solar box oven at 8:40 p.m.
Jonathan Schmidt, Brian Smies, and Jason Wyenberg will present their mink ranch water supply system at 8:55 p.m.
Travis Haveman, Kelsey Van Bemmel, and Brent Ver Mulm will present their loading dock at 9:10 p.m. The public is cordially invited to attend these presentations.
