Clark Named to All-American Team

(Monday, December 5; Sioux Center, Iowa) Suzanne Clark, a junior at Dordt College has been named a third-team all-American by the NAIA for the recently completed 2005 season.

Clark, an Elm Grove, Wisconsin native earned the honor after helping the Lady Defenders to a 9-9-2 mark and a berth in the NAIA Region III semifinals. Clark assisted on nine goals and helped limit opponents to 1.44 goals per game from her fullback spot. Clark was named Region III player of the year and was an honorable mention all-American selection in 2004 as a sophomore.

The Lady Defenders are coached by Bill Elgersma and finished second in the Great Plains Athletic Conference this season with an 8-2-1 record.
