Looking for ways you can get involved in the Dordt student community?

Around 90% of Dordt students live on campus—visit us and you’ll see students watching movies, playing games, and studying together.

Students enjoy roasting hot dogs and marshmallows at the fire pit behind the B.J. Haan, attending concerts and movies, grabbing coffee at the local Fruited Plain café, and traveling to nearby Sioux Falls and Sioux City on the weekends.

Here’s a few suggestions for ways you can explore your interests on our campus.

  • Write a front-page feature for the Dordt Diamond
  • Enter your essay into the Purple Martin Writing Contest
  • Report the morning news on our campus radio station
  • Play first base for the baseball team
  • Score the winning goal for your intramural soccer team
  • Cheer from the stands at a home football game

  • Design lighting for the next play
  • Take pictures for our award-winning yearbook
  • Bust a move with the Swing Dance Club
  • Travel the country with a campus ministry worship team
  • Go on tour with the chamber orchestra
  • Sign up for a PLIA or AMOR trip to serve here and abroad
