Unny Nzioka serves as instructor of business at Dordt University.

With over 30 years of experience in the business and finance industries and five years of teaching and speaking experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to Dordt’s Business Department. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Kenya and an International Finance Corporation (IFC) certified management consultant.

“My teaching is a response to God's call to prepare the next generation of effective professionals. I have an opportunity to anchor students in their faith and prepare them to apply a Christian Worldview as they respond to emerging issues within the professions God leads them into.”

Nzioka’s research interests include accounting, money and banking, and international business. She is especially interested in “Globalization and the impact of tariffs on local economies and global trade.”

“I believe God has positioned me to use my professional skill as a tool to impact His kingdom,” she adds.

Committed to lifelong learning, Nzioka is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Administration. Beyond her academic work, she serves on Dordt’s Community Development Program steering team and regularly hosts international students in her home, offering meals and fellowship.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, music, and traveling.
