I joined the Dordt University Agriculture Department faculty in 2011. My goal is create opportunities for students to gain a variety of experiences which help them become servant-leaders in agriculture. I coordinate our national internship program, helping students customize their education to fit their passions and gifts. I also help advise several co-curricular groups within the agriculture department including the Ag club, Professional Agricultural Student organization, Ag Ambassadors, and Defender Cattle Investments. I teach a variety of courses for the department.
