Emma McGaughey serves as Digital Content Specialist at Dordt University, where her primary focus is on graphic design for digital marketing initiatives. She oversees Dordt’s campus-wide digital signage system, collaborates on social media ideation and production, and many other projects.
She enjoys working on a wide variety of projects and mediums as well as being part of a team of fellow creatives who are dedicated to sharing what makes Dordt special.
“I am naturally a curious person, so much of my work is driven from a love of learning, creating, and solving new challenges,” says Emma. “I’m also inspired by Dordt’s commitment to integrate faith in every aspect of life. It makes my work feel meaningful, and I feel as though I’m a part of something bigger, helping advance God’s kingdom in a tangible way.”
Emma says that she strives to do everything for God’s glory.
In her free time, Emma creates for fun—whether through film and digital photography, videography, graphic design, animation, or crafting. She also loves music, cooking, traveling, and hiking.
