Dianne Hoekstra serves as Associate Professor of Nursing at Dordt University. Hoekstra previously worked for 10 years at Purdue University Northwest, where she served as Undergraduate Nursing Curriculum Coordinator and Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing.
A Certified Nurse Educator, Hoekstra has extensive experience in university-level nursing education, including nursing curriculum development and preparing future nurses for professional practice. Additionally, she brings over 20 years of experience working within a hospital system and practiced nursing in specialties such as orthopedics, medical/surgical, renal telemetry, cardiac rehabilitation, and staff education.
