Dordt and the Andreas Center to host "The Prodigal Love of God" conference
Dordt College and the Andreas Center for Reformed Scholarship and Service, in partnership with the Lilly Fellows Program, invite you to attend “The Prodigal Love of God: Reencountering Dort at 400 and Beyond,” a conference held on April 4-6, 2019.
This year marks the 400th anniversary of the Synod of Dort, the namesake of Dordt. The legacy of this synod has shaped and reformed Protestant communities for 400 years. Through plenaries and panel discussions, the conference will feature conversations about the history and future of Protestantism, as well as the opportunities facing the global church in the coming decades.

Sessions will feature a variety of formats, such as a panel session moderated by Dr. Mouw featuring Sean Michael Lucas, a professor of church history at Reformed Theological Seminary, and Bill DeJong, a pastor in the Canadian Reformed Church.
Conference sessions will cover topics such as why Protestantism still matters, the legacy of the Canons of Dordt, great books of the great tradition, a virtual tour of the synod, Reformational resources for cultural engagement, and more.
