Dordt University Named to Money's Best Colleges 2026

Dordt University has been named to Money magazine's Best Colleges 2026 list, joining more than 700 four-year colleges evaluated nationwide on 25 metrics spanning educational quality, affordability, and student outcomes.

Money's Best Colleges ratings assess institutions across three categories: quality of education, affordability, and outcomes. Quality of education factors include graduation rates, student-to-faculty ratio, and Pell Grant recipient outcomes. Affordability measures examine net price of a degree, student debt, and loan repayment rates. Outcomes metrics include alumni earnings and employment data drawn from the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard.

To be considered, a college must meet minimum enrollment thresholds, demonstrate financial stability, and maintain a graduation rate at or above the median for its institutional category — or show a high "value-added" graduation rate that outperforms what would be expected given the economic and academic profile of its students.
