Dordt senior art exhibit looks “Inside Out”

“Inside Out,” a senior art exhibit by art major Annika Terpstra, will be on display in the Campus Center Art Gallery at Dordt University April 26 – May 10. An artist reception will be held on Thursday, May 9 at 5-6 p.m.

“Inside Out” grapples with life’s encounters with being and feeling lonely, says Terpstra.

“These moments are explored through oil paintings in a variety of scale. While the neutrality of the images portrays being alone as a part of life, the searching is rooted in the knowledge that a relationship with Christ creates meaning in every moment,” writes the artist.
