Other rankings Dordt earned within Regional Universities (Midwest) include Best Value (#15), Top Performers on Social Mobility (#31 – tied), and Undergraduate Engineering Non-Doctorate (#71 – tied).

Dordt being included as a Top Private School for Midwestern regional universities fits with the university's deep commitment to Christ-centered education in that this category highlights schools that have structures for "smaller classes, specialized academic focuses, and shared religious affiliation or other alignment.”
Dordt's #6 spot on the Regional Universities (Midwest) ranking puts the university ahead of regional public universities such as University of Northern Iowa (#12 – tied), South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (#18 – tied), and Dakota State University (#78 - tied), as well as other private regional universities like University of Northwestern-St. Paul (#36 – tied) and Northwestern College (#55 – tied).
Dordt is tied for sixth with St. Catherine University of St. Paul, Minnesota.
