“The 2023-24 Iowa Corn Collegiate Advisory Team is made up of 23 students across the state. Only three are freshmen. Stephen Leinen, a freshman at Dordt University in Sioux Center, was selected to be a part of this year’s collegiate advisory team. Leinen was the only student selected from the N’West Iowa region, with two students out of Sioux City being the next closest.”

“For several summers I taught at Dordt University in northwest Iowa, and saw a rare sight in contemporary America: Shortly before 11 a.m. on Sundays, streets were full of people strolling to churches, including several thoroughly Reformed in theology. So, using a database on the Des Moines Register website, I checked to see how Republicans in the area surrounding Dordt voted in Monday’s caucuses.”
