The 4th Avenue Jazz Band and Campus Community Band are bringing a free concert to the BJ Hann Auditorium on Friday, October 16th at 3:10 pm, presented by Dordt University's Music Department.

The 4th Avenue Jazz Band will perform four big band jazz selections in the styles of previous legendary ensembles. These include Count Basie and Glenn Miller bands, along with a combined number performed with the 4th Ave Singers.

This performance will feature several soloists throughout the evening, a highlight being lead alto saxophonist Addie Ochsner, performing “Samantha,” a ballad that was composed by big band arranger Sammy Nestico.
