Master of Science in Nursing Program Profile
Dordt's MSN-FNP program is designed to equip those called to serve as nurse practitioners. Nurse practitioners have specialized knowledge and clinical competency to diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications and other treatments, and to manage patients' overall health care. The MSN-FNP didactic courses and clinical practicums will prepare registered nurse (RN) candidates to successfully pass the board certification exam required in advance of being eligible for licensure as advanced practice registered nurses (APRN).
