LEARNING GOALS AND OUTCOMES

  • To help students develop their oral and written language skills
  • To assist students as they study Dutch people's values and beliefs as expressed in their economic, political, and religious systems
  • To gain a solid understanding of Dutch literature

STRENGTHS

  • Our faculty member is a native Dutch speaker who has a strong understanding of the economic, political, and religious systems of the Netherlands
  • Students who study Dutch at Dordt might participate in the Studies Program in Contemporary Europe (SPICE) program, where they spend a semester in the Netherlands
