Thrive Center for Achievement
Thrive Center for Achievement of Dordt University is a teaching center. Dordt University professors and students are involved in numerous aspects of services provided. This unique relationship allows future teachers and practitioners to get a supervised hands-on learning experience.
The Thrive Center for Achievement assists students who need additional tutoring in math and literacy studies. The Thrive Center for Achievement can help students who have fallen behind get caught up and stay on track.
Mission Statement
The Thrive Center for Achievement of Dordt University serves the Northwest Iowa region in the areas of individualized reading and math instruction and personalized support for dyslexia. Thrive Center employs research-based best practices, taking a holistic approach in collaborating with schools, families, and agencies to achieve the best outcomes for your child. Our distinguishing characteristic is the value we place on each child, empowering each child to develop their gifts to the fullest, to be successful in their educational endeavors.

from any area school are welcome to schedule sessions.

- One-on-one sessions - For each learning session, one teacher meets with your child. Each teacher is dedicated to creating a learning experience for your child to flourish.
- Individualized programs - Our faculty design personalized learning plans for your child based on parent input, current school performance, and diagnostic assessment data.
- Dedicated faculty - Each instructor completes specialized training and continual professional development. Each one is committed to building relationships with your child, providing a personalized learning experience that will engage, affirm, and help your child achieve their goals.
