Dordt University offers programs designed to prepare students for professional licensure in the state of Iowa. All students should be aware that state requirements for professional licensure can vary.

Dordt University has provided a list of professional licensure disclosures. The documents below outline what Dordt University knows about the licensure requirements in states as they apply to Dordt University programs.

Students are notified if their program of interest does not meet requirements for professional licensure or if the eligibility of the program is unknown based on Dordt University’s Location Policy. Current students are responsible for notifying the Registrar’s Office of any address change.

Dordt University is required to determine the states in which prospective students and current students are located for the purpose of disclosing professional licensure information.

The location of prospective students is determined by the state or territory that the student discloses in their application for admission and stored in Dordt University’s customer relationship management system.

The location of current students is determined by the state or territory entered into Dordt University’s student information system.

A student’s location information will remain in effect until a student changes the state listed in the student’s permanent address by notifying the Registrar’s Office.
