Advancement Office

Within the Advancement Office, the Development Office maintains relationships with constituents through written and oral communication and fundraising activities. To help keep tuition as low as possible for students, this office annually makes personal visits with constituents for the Leadership Gifts Program, conducts a student phone-a-thon to nearly 15,000 constituents, sends mailings to more than 5,000 constituents, and receives church offerings. Development personnel also oversee the Dordt Business Foundation (DBF) and the Dordt Heritage Society.

Also within the Advancement Office, the Marketing and Communication Office helps to disseminate information via print and online publications, email, and social media about Dordt news and events to radio stations, newspapers, church bulletins, websites, and other public venues. This office also creates advertising for the college and assists in creating brochures, student recruitment publications, and much of this website. In conjunction with the Marketing and Communication Office, alumni and church relations personnel provide resources for alumni, organize special programs and activities that bring constituents to campus, and produce a constituency magazine, the Voice, published three times per year.
