Dordt College Men's Basketball vs. Black Hills State

(Home) Neal Brenneman scored 26 points on 12 for 16 shooting to lead the Defenders to their sixth SDIC win, versus three losses, as Dordt defeated Black Hills State tonight 91-77. Dordt has scored 91 points in their last three games, all wins, at home in De Witt Gymnasium. The win over the Yellow Jackets avenged an earlier loss in Spearfish 78-74 in overtime on January 7. Eric Maas netted 17, and Randy Oostra ripped down 10 rebounds for Dordt now 15-7, and 6-3 in the SDIC. Dordt swept the weekend homestand versus South Dakota Tech (91-67) and Black Hills State to hold at number two in the league behind Huron (8-1). Black Hills State was led by Brant Miller's 17 points. Point guard Nathan Vogel gave out 11 assists for the Yellow Jackets who drop to 7-15, and 1-8 in the loop.
