Dordt College Women's Basketball vs. Dakota Wesleyan

(Mitchell, South Dakota) The Dordt Lady Defenders pulled of a big upset over nationally ranked Dakota Wesleyan tonight, holding the Tigers to an icy 27 percent shooting night in the victory. Dordt set the defensive tone early, forcing Dakota Wesleyan to play nearly eight minutes before scoring their first points of the game. The Defenders limited Randi Morgan, last year's NAIA Player of the Year, to just six points in the game, all coming in the second half. Jill Bouma had 11 points and eight boards to lead the Defenders.
