Dordt College Men's Basketball vs. Dakota Wesleyan

(Home) In a very low scoring game by today's standards the Dordt College men knocked off the nations number 20 team Dakota Wesleyan 46-40, at home, tonight. The half time score was only 27-17, in favor of the Defenders, and despite scoring only 17 second half points, Dordt won the game. Dordt had nearly as many rebounds as points tonight, garnering 38 rebounds over against the 46 point output. Evan Beimers led Dordt with seven rebounds tonight. The Defenders have now won three straight home games in a row and are back in the middle of the GPAC race with a 5-6 league record. Dordt's overall record improves to 11-8 on the season. Dakota Wesleyan slips to 7-4 in conference games, and have lost three of their last four contests. The Tigers are 17-9 overall.
