Dordt College Women's Volleyball vs. King (TN)

The Dordt Lady Defenders complete pool play at the NAIA National Tournament with a 3-1 decision over unrated King College (TN) Friday morning. Dordt wrapped up pool play with a 3-1 record. The Lady Defenders had a balanced attack at the net with Darci Wassenaar and Rachel Pontier knocking down 16 kills and AJ Lefever added 13 kills and led the team in digs with 33. Dre Johnson and Lacey-Jae Huisman added 12 each. Tricia Top was perfect serving with a 29-29 performance and 3 ace serves. Alisa Kooima lofted 59 assists for the Lady Defenders who advance to the National Quarterfinals with their second place finish in Pool B. Dordt is now 37-5 with four of their losses coming to teams in the Elite Eight at the National Tournament.
