Dordt College Women's Volleyball vs. College of St. Mary

(Omaha, Nebraska) The Dordt College Lady Defenders went on the road Friday evening and turned in a dominating performance in a 3-0 win over the College of Saint Mary Flames at the Lied Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dordt College led start to finish in game one with a 30-24 win. Game two was a tight affair with ten ties, the last at 21-21. Dordt trailed at one point 17-14, but reeled off six points in a row to take a lead they would never relinquish the rest of the night. Dordt held on for the 30-28 win in game two and finished the match off in three games with a 30-17 decision in game three.

Dordt College was paced by Rachel Van Beek with 15 kills while Tara De Boer and Lindsey Van Wyk both had 14 and 11 respectively. Emily Van Voorst lofted 47 set assists while Jill Haan had 19 digs. Steph Helmus aded 14 digs while Van Wyk and Traci Kooima both had 12. Kooima also put in a team high two ace serves.

The Flames were paced by Christi Huigen's 12 kills.
