Dordt College Women's Volleyball vs. Nebraska Wesleyan

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt Lady Defenders completed a weekend sweep this afternoon with a 3-0 win over Nebraska Wesleyan. Nebraska Wesleyan played close during the early points of game one before Dordt pulled away, winning ten of the final twelve points.

Nebraska Wesleyan jumped ahead early in game two, but couldn't hold on as Dordt won 30-19.

The Defenders led start to finish in game three, holding on for the 30-18 victory.

Rachel Pontier had 15 kills and five blocks to lead the Defenders while Rachel Van Beek and Tara De Boer had 11 and 10 kills respectively. Megan Groeneweg had five ace serves for Dordt. Nebraska Wesleyan's Kim Laird had six kills.

Dordt College clinches their third GPAC regular season championship in four seasons with the win today.
